Young is not as bad as everyone says he is. Granted, he is not an O’Neill. I do think Young, should have brought Rush up on charges. The writers don’t seem to be trying. Of course, charges, would lead to yet another boring and dull program.

The next episode is either going to make it or break it for me.

In the next episode, “Space” Rush, who as you know is abandon with the Alien Vessel, will activate a beacon (A kind of Galactic Car Alarm) Aliens, arrive, “Abduct him” and place him in a tank of liquid. Col. Young will accidently active an object, which puts him in the proximity of Rush on the Alien vessel. This will be considered a threat by the Alien race and they will target Destiny. Rush is returned the Destiny, once again has to think for the Humans and is on its merry way. This recent schism between Young (Military) and Rush (Scientist) and of course IOA Suggestion that WRAY start her own camp, is the lead into the next show. This leads us to the Divided Episode.

When I saw this episode, I thought that the older Summers Character was lying about his identity, and actually this is Chris’s older self.

I am no expert,but this would mean the elimination of the younger Summers (known to be bent) would fit the older Chris’s remorsefullness, whilst his death at Gene’s hands would befit his beliefs and pay penance for future sins.This would leave his younger self free from guilt and able to reclaim his innocence by removing himself from the future.

If Alex does see the same person in the hospital this would also work as the person in the future would have no recollection of the bent Chris’s actions.

Even if this is not the case, I prefer to stick with this belief as it fits well inside the Ashes to Ashes Universe.

Apparantly they found 2, the “original” Kino and Lt Scott’s message Kino, so it is possible some of the character development in this episode happened after all. (Also allow the writers to decide it didn’t if more convienient for them)
