The 5 day Torchwood event comes to a close with an episode that could also double as an end to Torchwood as a whole. While the resolution to the problem was not quite as “Deus ex Machina” as I feared it would be, I was still unconvinced by it however. Fortunately the drama of the episode more than made up for it, with an ending that is both heartbreaking and satisfying at the same time.

Things finally rack up a gear in the penultimate episode, and there are alot of questions answered, but there are still a few remaining. There are also a couple of things that you would normally expect in the finale.Though given that it is Russell T Davies in charge of writing Torchwood I am sure that there will be some Deus ex Machina to clean things up.

Like the previous episode, Part 3 suffers slightly from being an early middle episode, having to set the scene but not give too much away. Unlike last nights episode though, answers are starting to appear though how the “456″ incident can be resolved is still unclear.
