The Doctor returns with a new face, new TARDIS desktop, new companion and a new sonic screwdriver. (Post contains spoilers for this episode)

After the long wait, I found this episode to be a minor disappointment. That being said it is still a solid base to build upon for the mystery of Gene Hunt and what is going on in the world of Life on Mars on Ashes to Ashes

Dragon Haven concludes the journey of the “stunted” dragons to the former Elderling city of Kelsingra. Given the disappointment of The Dragon Keeper will Dragon Haven be an improvement or an even bigger let down?

The penultimate episode/special in many ways highlights some of the best and worst aspects of Russell T Davies time on Doctor Who, with it on one hand being a highly enjoyable fast paced episode with good character development and mysteries, but on the other having a plot with holes so big you could drive a truck through them and an strong element of Deus ex Machina.
