The Rebuild of Evangelion continues in Evangelion 2.22, with the events of episode's 7-19 of the series being re-imagined in this time instalment. While Evangelion 1.11 suffered from being slightly stale if you were familiar with the series, it appears that lessons have been learnt with Evangelion 2.22 and made watching it a more satisfying experience.

POST CONTAINS SPOILERS

My initial impression of Transformers 2 was that it was a lot better than the first film, but I still don't like the design of the Transformers compared to the original cartoon. For fans of the original cartoon like myself, there are a ton of references which will be familiar like the Matrix of Leadership, seekers as well as plot elements that seem ripped from the cartoon. Despite these homages, I still wish the designs of the transformers were closer to the originals where possible.

Warning this review contains spoilers for "Fast and Furious"

I went into the film, having only seen part of Tokyo drift, so was unfamiliar with the back story to F&F but there were enough references for me to know the essential without the reference feeling forced. As such I cant compare the quality of this installment to previous ones, what I can say is that if you like high octane fast car chases, explosions and are willing to enjoy a film for what it is, rather than looking for a critical masterpiece, then you should enjoy Fast & Furious.

Warning this review contains major spoilers for the Watchmen film so do not read on if this bothers you
One Sentence Review
A fairly faithful adaptation of the graphic novel and if anything knowing the graphic novel ruins Watchmen as a film
Detailed Thoughts and Analysis
Aside from the films ending which replaced the fake Giant Alien Squid with framing Dr Manhattan for the deaths of millions this is one of the most faithful adaptations of a book that I have seen and therein lies the films problem for people like me who know ...

One Sentence Review
A fairly standard action film that feels like the middle part of a trilogy
Plot Summary (Major Spoilers)
The film starts out with a car chase which turns out to be set almost immediately after the end of Casino Royale, with it turning out Bond had Mr White in the boot of his car and was delivering him to M at a MI6 depot in Italy.
One Sentence Review
A good film but in my opinion slightly over-hyped with too many sub-plots
Plot Summary
The film opens with the Jokers gang breaking into a mob bank and succesfully robbing them of millions of dollars. As the robbery progresses more and more of the jokers gang are killed off as their usefulness ends, until just the Joker remains.
We first see Batman breaking up a drug buy led by the scarecrow, he also ends up repremanding some copy cat Batmen who also try to intervene. He later meets up with Gordon to plan ...

Enjoyable action film with nods to the comics and the TV series
Plot Summary
The film starts out with a recap montage of how Bruce Banner became the Hulk and how things got to the situation he is currently in. Banner is currently in Brazil working at a juice bottling plant and his blood gets into a bottle which eventually leads General Ross to Banner after the traditional Sam Lee cameo appearance. After a failed attempt to capture the Hulk, Banner heads back to America to get data from the incident that made him the ...
