On a train heading to LA Simon chats up a woman by saying he knows what caused the Flash Forward. It turns out that he is a Genius Quantum Physicist who has won the Robert Wilson Award and has a picture of him holding lap goggles over his genitals. He explains a theory about Quantum Superposition’s, and the observer effect using a variant of the Schrödinger’s Cat thought experiment

In LA a badly injured Janis is brought into hospital and is operated on by Olivia. This causes her to repeatedly try and fail to get in touch with Mark causing her to worry as she cant find anything out from anyone. A little later Mark arrives at the hospital with Demetri and Director Wedeck and has her fill the FBI in on Janis’ status.

Elsewhere in the hospital Lloyd Simcoe is playing cards with his autistic son Dylan, at first things are going fine but Dylan clams up when Lloyd mentions moving to his house and starts to repeat “its my house too”

Al and Demetri head to the coroners to see if anything has been learnt from the bodies of Janis’ attackers. Demetri and Al both have a minor confrontation about how they have both been attacking weird for the past few weeks. Demetri then discovers a blue hand on the attackers body reminding him of a clue from Marks board linked to Baltimore.

Back at the office they argue over what the next step should be with Al wanting to look into a Chinese connection, while Demetri figures it will be a dead end. Al then wants to look at Baltimore Street in Silverlake, while Al thinks Baltimore, Maryland is a better bet. Al eventually agrees to go with Demetri to Baltimore Street. When they get there Al spots a blue hand on a stop sign.

Back on the train Simon and the Woman are sharing FlashForwards in bed. The Woman says that she will be in Time Square in what appears to be a celebration of the Flash Forward, while Simon claims that he will be killing a man he does not know by strangulation.

At the hospital Lloyd is in a panic as his son Dylan cant be found and is later discovered to have left the hospital. Dylan is seen getting on a bus wanting to go to 25696 Sawyer Court (Mark and Olivia’s house).

While Mark is out trick or treating with Charlie, the escaped Kangaroo hops by. Later on he spots 3 men in plastic masks similar to those in his Flash Forward. When he calls out to them they run off and he gives chase. When he catches up to them it turns out to be teenagers afraid he was onto them throwing eggs at houses. He then gets a call from Nicole telling him that Dylan has walked into their house.

When Marks gets back he talks to Dillon who keeps on claiming “it is my house too” we then see his Flash Forward and see him in the kitchen of Marks house, where he bumps into Charlie when looking for food and tells him to go ahead as it is your house too. He also sees a picture of Olivia and Charlie with Mark and Olivia’s address on. Charlie then walks in and greets Dylan warmly.

Lloyd then arrives to get Dylan and vaguely recognises the house, Olivia then walks in and Lloyd finally puts the pieces together and realises she was the woman in his Flash Forward. Mark then tells Lloyd to leave and not to come back, in a tense moment Lloyd apologises for the inconvenience and thanks them for their kindness before offering his hand which Mark reluctantly accepts, he then leaves with Dylan still insisting it is his house too.

Elsewhere Al and Demetri have followed a series of Blue Hands to a house which they find blood outside of. Inside the house there is evidence of a party with drug use, blood stains all over the place and 3 dead bodies one of which has a blue hand.
At the hospital Janice has had to have more surgery. When Wedeck goes to see her, Janis is very upset since while Olivia has done her best, the scarring means it is unlikely she will be able to have any children.

Back at Marks, he gets into an argument over Dylan getting to their house. He demands that Olivia be honest with him, she then turns it around as his old patterns from his drinking days, and asks if he is hiding anything from him. Mark then admits he was drinking in his Flash Forward, Olivia then confronts Mark with how he has been treating her when he says not to condemn him for something he has not done, and tells him that they do not trust each other anymore. It ends with them both questioning if their marriage can continue.

At the Blue Hand House, Al has found a passport belonging to a British Citizen Ian Rutherford which ties into his Flash Forward where he was discussing the Rutherford case. We also see that Al’s Flash Forward also involved a phone call which was obviously upsetting for him.

Dylan has arrived back at the hospital and Lloyd gets ready to go home. When he gets into his car he get surprised by a man hiding in the back in a Frankenstein mask who turns out to be Simon. Simon then tells him that he (and everyone) was worried about him and they need to talk. Lloyd then tells him that their experiment killed 20 million people so what more is there to say.
